About

A new coastal campground, built for the way families travel now.

Island Creek Campground is a family-run park on the Wilmington coast — full-hookup RV sites, cabins, tent sites, a pool, a playground, weekend food trucks, and a themed-weekend calendar that lines up with everything Wilmington does best. Opens early 2027.

Who Island Creek is for

Built for families, snowbirds, and weekenders.

Island Creek is a coastal base camp for the families, couples, and snowbirds who want a real Wilmington trip without a long drive to get to it. Weekend getaways. Spring-break beach days. Snowbird stays from November through February. Reunion weekends and group rallies. Whatever brings you to the Cape Fear coast, the park sets you up to enjoy it.

Choose from full-hookup RV pull-throughs sized for any rig, comfortable cabins for families who'd rather skip the tow, or level tent sites for a back-to-basics weekend. Every site is built with the spacing, hookups, and on-property amenities modern campers expect.

On property, you'll find a pool, a splash pad, a playground, pickleball courts, a fenced dog yard, weekend food trucks, and a themed-weekend program tied to Wilmington's real calendar — Azalea Festival in spring, Riverfest in fall, Holiday Flotilla in December.

Just off Sidbury Road in northern New Hanover County, you're about twenty minutes to Wrightsville Beach, the Wilmington Riverwalk, and the Battleship. One park. Every Wilmington trip.
