Legal
Cookie policy.
What cookies we set, why, and how to opt out. No tricks.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. They let websites remember preferences between visits, measure usage, and (less ideally) track you across the web. We use them for the first two reasons and avoid the third where possible.
Cookies we set
Strictly necessary
- icc_widget_collapsed (localStorage, not technically a cookie) — remembers whether you've collapsed the sticky booking widget. Set when you toggle the widget. Never expires.
- wordpress_* — WordPress session cookies for logged-in users (front-end only sets these for admins).
Analytics
- _ga, _ga_* — Google Analytics 4. Anonymized site usage. Expires 2 years.
- _gid — Google Analytics 4. Session-level. Expires 24 hours.
Marketing (only when running ad campaigns)
- _fbp — Meta Pixel. Ad campaign measurement. Expires 90 days. Set only when active Meta campaigns are running.
Booking partner
- Campspot session cookies — set when you click through to
campspot.comto book. Governed by Campspot's Privacy Policy.
How to opt out
You can:
- Use your browser's "Do Not Track" or cookie-blocking settings — we honor these
- Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on
- Use private/incognito mode for sessions you don't want tracked
Blocking analytics cookies will not affect site functionality.
Children
We do not knowingly use cookies to collect data on children under 13.
Updates
We update this list when we add or remove tools. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change.
