Activities

Spend the day on-property — or use camp as your base.

Cool off in the pool. Climb the playground. Play pickleball at sunset. Drop into food truck Friday and let the themed-weekend calendar take it from there. Whether you stay on property or head out to the coast, there's always something to do.

On the property

Plenty to do without leaving camp.

Cool off, climb, splash, and play — everything on this list is on property and built for families of every age.

Pool & splash pad

Cool off in the pool, then turn the kids loose at the splash pad. Open seasonally.

Playground

Climb the playground built for actual climbing — a structure the kids will want to come back to.

Pickleball courts

Pick up a paddle at the courts — open all day, lit for evening play.

Fenced dog yard

Run your dog off-leash in the fenced yard — with separate spaces for small and large dogs.

Camp store & coffee bar

Grab a coffee, ice, firewood, or a forgotten essential — open daily.

Bike & beach gear rentals

Roll out on a cruiser bike, or borrow chairs, umbrellas, and coolers for the beach day.

Themed Weekends

A year's worth of plans, already on the calendar.

Themed weekends tied to Wilmington's real calendar — book around the events you want, and bring the rest of the trip back to camp.

Azalea Festival Weekend (early April)

Catch Wilmington's biggest spring weekend — downtown at peak bloom, festival on the Riverwalk, and late check-out Sunday at the park so you can catch the parade.

July 4 on the Battleship (early July)

Watch the fireworks over the Cape Fear River from downtown — or back at camp after a beach day.

Riverfest Weekend (early October)

Spend the weekend on the Riverwalk — music, vendors, and the fall festival lineup.

Halloween Weekend (late October)

Trunk-or-treat at the park, costume contest, and trick-or-treating through the loops.

Holiday Flotilla (late November)

Bundle up and head down to Wrightsville Beach for the lighted boat parade — one of Wilmington's favorite traditions.

Snowbird BBQ (monthly Nov–Feb)

Gather with snowbird neighbors for a monthly BBQ at the pavilion — included for monthly-stay guests.
